Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Cambria, not to hurt your feelings, but every person is unique, and become a "family" history by working the person, then tying it together. That may.. or may not.. involve anything to do with specifics of race/ ethnic.
99.9 % of the time, you won't find someone to do the history for you, but help direct you to HOW. One good starting point is www.rootsweb.com, which has a beginners guide to research. You can check for family members in the social security death index (that same site)... but since you don't bother to include a country, much less state... I can't say for sure if that is worth your time. There are some in Louisiana.. but also in Canada.
LOTS of people here to help.. get you started RIGHT, maybe locate a key piece of info, send you to a place that might help further... etc, etc. Expect to put some time into it. like a good home cooked meal instead of Burger King.
