Question:

Harvey Hinkle/Henkle b abt 1820 married Sarah Brewster, looking for where they went after 1880.?

They are listed on the 1880 census, but after i cant locate them. Had a son Named Robert who married a Rhoda Miller. Anyone else studying the Hinkle/Henkle/Henckel/Hinkel/H... and other spellings?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: This family does have a pedigree on Ancestry.com (the url is down below). If you don't have an Ancestry account you could sign on for a free trial and hop to this link after that is all sorted out (for all we know that could be your pedigree chart??)

Part of the problem is of course the infamous loss of the 1890 US census which leaves a gap. It seems most likely that Robert was dead by 1900 (he would have been 80 after all) . We don't know exactly when the move was made but both Robert and James are in Pike Co., Kentucy by 1910 and both are difficult to find in 1900 so that move could have been made as early is the mid 1880s and Havey may have died in Kentucy.

This is a tough one, any more detailed information you might have would be useful to help narrow it down.
