What is a good place to find records for the netherlands?

Question:

What is a good place to find records for the netherlands?

I am looking for census records as well as marriage, birth and death records for mostly the Netherlands at the moment. The site I was previously looking for only deals with the UK which is fine for my family, but my husband's family on his father's side is dutch for many many generations, at some point it links up with Charlemagne, but I haven't gotten even close to that far back yet.

Some of them are from Amsterdam and Rotterdam, and only the last 2 or 3 generations have lived in Canada. I don't know yet if any of them went into the US.
