I am adopted and i want to find out where and who my real parents are?

In Greensboro, N.C. in 1960 I was adopted at Greensboro Childrens Home.I then grew up in Raleigh N.C. I have early stages of Pakisons,I need to find them or info. on my blood kin and medical history! But most of all what is my real last name and where(if I had any) my siblings are and if my true parents are still living
I need to know this not only to maybe let them know me(at 47)
but to clear away this cloud of who the hell I am,So I can move on with my life. Please help my situation. And please undersstand that my money is tight because of disabilites.So maybe somewhere out their Hopefully can help me reinstate my lifes questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Some families may not want to be contacted, but will often honor a request of medical history that an agency requests on behalf of the child that was adopted out.

I would focus on the contact being advertised as a request for medical information and when they give the children's home that have them send your contact info along, the ball is in their court to contact you on a personal level if they would like. But at least the children's home would locate the info you need.
