Where do I find a Baptismal Record from 1960.?

The church where this took place on Aug.28, 1960 has since burned down. Any suggestions of where to look.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: In the Catholic Church, the parish keeps a baptismal book, First Communion Book, Confimation Book, Marriage Book. These books are usually sent to the Diocescan chancery ever so often to be microfilmed. Actually parish records are not kept in the Church but in the rectory.
