how do i find out where my family tree started? FREE i don't want to pay anything! like a website is my first choice but don't want to pay for finding out where my roots came from ? please help asap if u can thx

You could also register for a free trial on www.ancestry.co.uk/com from time to time they offer free trials, and www.rootsweb.com I myself don't like the last one I think it's pants. There is the free bmd section on ancestry.co.uk , if you need any help to get you started you could email me with the name of the person you would like me to start researching for you, I would also need the year and area where the person lived.
