Position:Home>Genealogy> Who Are Lucretia Worden's Ancestors?Question: Who Are Lucretia Worden's Ancestors? Here is a better worded qustion for Lucretia Worden. Who are Luretia Worden's parents ,grand parents and ancestors ? Also what are the birth marriage and death dates. Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I found a family tree with uncited sources claiming that Lucretia Worden's parents were Nathaniel Worden (1728-1813) and Anna Palmeter (b. 1726). Married to Daniel Reynolds. According to this record, she died in Ohio. Nathaniel's parents were William Walter Worden (1698-1791) and Sarah Shelley (1699-1753). William's parents were Isaac Worden (1673-1718, born in Yarmouth, MA) and Rebekah UNKNOWN (d. 1735). Isaac's parents were Samuel Worden (b. abt 1646 in East Dennis, MA) and Hopestill Holley (1646-1715, born in Sandwich, MA). The genealogy keeps going back from there. I'll post a link in my sources list. Since this isn't verified, I can't promise that it's accurate. I rely on records and I couldn't find any for Lucretia. Everyone seems to agree that Lucretia married Daniel Reynolds, but I can't find evidence that Thankful Reynolds (born. 1799) is their child. I did find a Thankful Reynolds born in 1790 in Grafton, NH. Father: Daniel Reynolds. Mother: Thankful Haskell. Is this the Thankful who is your ancestor? Is it possible that you're a descendant of Thankful Reynolds (b. 1790 in NH) and that you confused her father Daniel Reynolds with the Daniel Reynolds born in New York who married Lucretia Worden? If so, I can conduct a whole new search. Good luck. The 1880 Census shows a Thankful Rose in Ohio, born about 1798-1799), widowed, living with a Theophilius McCoppin. I am not sure if this is her, but I can safely say Thankful Rose is a very uncommon name. In the 1850 Census I see a Thankful Rose married to a Lawrence Rose in Highland, Ohio. Lawrence was a miller by occupation. It says he was born in NY. They have many kids: David, Helen R, Martha J, Daniel, William, Catherine, and Virgin. |
