1) I'm looking for a woman with a double last name who lived to be 100. She was born Classie Hatton-Foster about 1860, married a Mr. Cherry at some point, gave birth to Lillie Mae Cherry and died about 1960.

2) I'm looking for Classie Hatton, who was born somewhere between 1860 and 1960. She married a Mr. Foster but fooled around on the side, bearing a child, Lillie Mae Cherry.

2b) Classie Hatton married Mr. Foster. They had a child Lillie Mae, who married a Mr. Cherry.

3) My grandmother, Classie, married three men; a Mr. Hatton, a Mr. Foster and a Mr. Cherry. One of her 12 children was Lillie Mae Cherry, who moved to Norfolk from Chicago in 1923. Her aged mother came to live with her in the 1960's.

4) I live in Norfolk and I'm looking for . . .

3) Child's name
4) Child's spouse's name
5) As many dates and places as you know.

has a Lillie Cherry, 1899 - 1981, d. Norfolk. If that is your Lillie Mae, Classie was born 1859 - 1879, or 1853 - 1885 at the outside. The fact Lillie lived to be 82 speaks well of her genes and healthy living habits. It also makes 2b look better.

The 1900 census has 31 people named "Classie" in VA in 1900. None of them have the last name Hatton, Foster or Cherry. 1910 has 30, again none with those surnames.
