Question:

Finding dead relatives...?

I wonder if anyone has had any luck in doing something similar to this:

I have an uncle that died 2 days after birth in the early 60's. Around that time it was common that parents would have babies or small children buried with elderly people (not always a relative) who were also about to be buried. We don't know where this baby is buried but I have a rough idea it's Cardiff.

So my question is this, has anyone had any success of finding someone (the baby now not the elderly person) who was buried in these circumstances. If so, how did you find it. My last idea to do this would be to write to all the funeral homes but I'm thinking is it possible a record exists.

Or are there any undertakers on this site who could advise me how long buried records of this nature are kept?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It's really hard my cousin brother was a baby wen he was buried. That was many years ago, and we can't find his either. I don't know if there is a website, but I'm sure it's someone you can talk too. You'll find him don't give up!
