Question:

How do you find someone in Switzerland?

My great grandfather came over from Switzerland, as did all of his brothers and sisters except for one. Her name was Elise Grossenbacher, and she married a man whose last name is Allenspach. Their family should still be in Switzerland, most likely Geneva. Their children were Renee and George Allenspach, who might still be alive. Renee married Charles Lugeone, and their children were Michell and Alain. George had a child named Nichole. I'm looking to find these relatives in order to find more about my great grandfather and his parents. How can I find these relatives?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Well, first source: Swiss phone directory - you will find a Mr "Georges Allenspach" in Geneva, otherwise no matches for the persons mentioned at all.

Specially the name "Lugeone" - please check the spelling a nobody having this surname is in the entire Swiss phone directory.

The state-financed initiative "Swissroots" will help you anyway, good luck!
