Anyone Know anything about the Last Name Chaya?

So, I married my husband David and HIs last name is Chaya. Its Polish! I would like to know the history of it and Geneology info. His Grandfather is Robert Chaya. They family is from PA. And it used to be spelt something like this when they came from Poland Czahza Im not sure tough. Help!!

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I looked up the name Robert Chaya on ancestry.com. They have phone directory and U.S. Public Records for that name in Pennsylvania. My subscription isn't the deluxe so I couldn't gain access to anymore info. But since it is public information you can request from the city or town where your husbands ancestors lived. In some small towns this can be found in the local health department. Ancestry.com is a good place to start but the service isn't free. Your best bet is to question all the living eldest relatives as to any information that can help your search. Wouldn't it be nice to take a trip back to Poland with your husband and find some of the remaining Czahzas!
