Ivan lived on Long Fork in Ky.He was working in the mines every since he got to be 18 years of age. He was married had kids to. He has lived his hold life on Long Fork. Father was = Kurnie Johnson Mothers name was Mable (Meade) Johnson. They lived on Long Fork their hold life to.

I've gone through both the Social Security Administration files and the State of Kentucky death index (which is accurate through 2000) and neither has a record of his death. These are the only Ivan Johnsons from 1911-2000 for whom a death certificate has been issued in Kentucky:

There's also no record of anyone named Kurnie Johnson being married or dying in Kentucky, nor is there a phone record for him or Ivan in Leslie Co.

I don't know what to tell you, but maybe Ivan's real first name was a little different, or maybe Ivan was his middle name.
