The earliest I see that surname on US census is 1880. Patrick born about 1835 said he was born Ireland, but their children were born earlier NY, so I tried again 1870 with a wild card, kad*n and found kaden, kadin & kadien. A kaden said born W㼲ttemberg, another in Sachsen, Saxony, one England, along with mostly Ireland. 1860 it's spelled Kaden.
