Is Conover german or dutch?

Is Conover german or dutch?

my dad is mainly Dutch and German but he has a little bit of native american in him and supposedly like a smidget asain(what, i do not know). His last name is Conover. does anyone know what that is? im just curious and wanna know more about my last name and such. my dad's parents live in california and i live in connecticut so its not that easy to get a hold of them to talk about it. if anyone else is a Conover or knows anything about it would be really cool :)

Now just b/c this site says so you should research your family to be sure. Start by getting birth,death,marriage certificates,land grants,military records,wills, census reports and start to ppiece together your family history it should start to give you a good idea of your family origins.good luck in your search
