They came from Canton Uri Wassen Maien in Switzerland of German-Swiss decent. I think your best bet will not be on the internet but having to do the footwork to locate these records.You should also try your local library genealogical room or your local Genealogy Society for Ship passenger lists and also your nearest LDS family History center Unfortantly I don't have much knowledge on immigration in the 1800's but there is someone here who can point you in the right direction,good luck in your search. |
