Plaisance
1) from the medieval female personal name Plaisance, meaning ??pleasantness??, a feminine form of the much rarer personal name Plaisant (present participle of Old French plaire ??to please??), of common gender.
2) habitational name from Piacenza in Italy, Latin name Placentia (see Piacentini).
3) habitational name from any of a number of places so called in France. This name is found predominantly in Louisiana.

LeJeune
French: variant of Jeune (??young??), with the definite article le. This name was also taken to Germany by Huguenot refugees. It is often translated as Young.

So, one of your ancestors was a Roman senator and the other a Huguenot refugee. Or, you are Cajun. Or, you are Canadian. Only a bit if research on your part will tell. The resolved answers here are full of links and tips.

Huguenots were French Protestants. They settled all over the world.
