Question:

Could this mean im italian? (this one is for yall that answered my other question and for anyone else)?

I hope yall remember my other question about being italian. I thank everyone for their answers, that really helped. Now i did what yall told me to do and look into more. So i did. I found out that my last name means baccalarius in latin, and baccalarre is italian. Its just shortened in italian compared to the latin one. And that was the first time my name was born in that language, but there is no real origin for it. It still meant bachelor as being single back then, when it was starting to be used around and after 8 A.D. when single men were being seperated from married men. So doesnt that actually make me italian if my name was originally bought up in rome, and by the italians. It has went thru lots of variables, and is now of course bachelor, and batchelor. But really its not english origin cuz the origin is still unkown, it just says that cuz the english happened to name people batchelor around 1600 as a real last name, before that they used it as a name for knights.
