Question:

What is the best resource to trace ancestry, if you have very little information to go on?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The first thing to do is talk to the older members of your family, if they are anything like my older relatives were they will love to reminisce about your ancestors, make notes of names dates and places, that should get you started at least. I started doing my research at the library and the archives centre, they have a lot of information that you simply wont find on the Internet. I subscribe to a few genealogy sites, www.ancestry.com/.co.uk you could look at the Mormon site www.familysearch.org it's completely free to use and download stuff by far the best free site there is. Hope this has helped you.
