Alabama residents!!! Anyone ever heard of Mcclure Town? its a little outside of Troy?

how big is it? where can i find the history?(yes ppl i googled it and didn't find much). I am tracing my family and it has lead me to this town (long story). My family once tried to find it and went the wrong way. any help greatly appreciated.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The Pike County AL GenWeb project will have the most detailed historical information of the town and surrounding area. I've looked at quite a bit of the information. Not only are there printed resources, but there seems to be a decent Historical Society in the county that will probably help you more than the internet ever will.
