Question:

How do I find the time and day I was born in SC? Where do I go find out that information?

I know the year/place I was born, but I don't know the actual day or time. I also want an original copy of my birth certificate with my foot prints on them. I just want to know if I had to go to Columbia, SC to find out that information and how much will it cost.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The certificate with your footprints on them is a hospital issued certificate, not a government issued certificate, so if you don't have your original one, I would ask your mother or guardian about it.

You can order your birth certificate from the Vital Statistics office in the county in which you were born. It will list the time of birth and will be signed by the doctor who delivered you.

The costs of the certificates vary from place to place. It looks like a certified birth certificate will cost about $12.00. Here is a link to the address in which to write.

I hope this helps.
