Searching for uncles who came to Australia in 1886ish.?

I managed to track down one uncle John Lennon, he died in Victoria in 1928. I can find no trace of his brother Owen. I have been unable to find any other records. They arrived in 1886(on Johns death cert it said he'd spent 42 yrs in Vic no other state) but I can find no record of arrival. John was unmarried but he was a retired police constable. Hopefully someone out there can give me some advice.
