How do I find adoption records for South Korea orphanages in 1983-85?

I was adopted from an orphanage in South Korea sometime in 1984 I believe. I think I remember my adoptive parents say that some man with the family name, Lim ran the orphanage or something like that. Does any body know if there are websites to certain orphanages in South Korea. My korean name was Mee Sun.

I believe (don't quote me on this) that adoptions out of Korea may be more open there, compared to American? Your American parents sound willing to help already, which is a bonus. I have an adoptive son, and I know the emotions from this side are always mixed. You are loved here, as well as recognition of your choice to know.
