Looking for "Barrie" family from Newfoundland?

I am looking for my mother's family. She might have come from the Placentia Bay area. Her name was Bridgette Hackett, though she remarried just before she died. I think her mother's name was Helena Barrie.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Go into Rootsweb and put a message on the Mesage Board for Canada and then Newfoundland. I have had some very good success with message boards.
When you put a message on the Rootsweb message board it also shows up on the Ancestry.Com message boards.
