Question:

Searching for family's decendents/reverse genealogy?

Does anyone know of a person or business that could track down a persons decendents if given a persons name and where they lived ( ie census records)? I'm restoring an old house, and would really like to find some original information about it, and the family, from the family. Any leads are greatly appreciated.

Follow up - The house was built in 1910, and is in a historic neighborhood here in Indianapolis. The city/county building does not not any further family records. The 1920 census record named the family, but no decendants, and I couldn't find any obituarys for the family name. The original family bought the house in 1910, and sold it in 1946.
