Trying to find a old obituary of Terrell wheeler died 1998 in Mcpherson, Ks. From Greenwood Mississippi?

I have searched the web and everything cost money i just want a copy of his obituary and paper reading if any. He went to Mcpherson College but, was from Greenwood Mississippi. Died July 4th 1998. If anyone can help please let me know. Thanks Sarah

this is the website for the Greenwood Commonwealth (the local paper). Drop them an email (or call them), and ask how to get a 1998 obit. They are online now but smaller papers often won't digitize older papers.
Another option, if Greenwood was "home", I'll guess that is where the funeral and burial was. Someone in McPherson probably handled sending him back to Miss. That is one reason I often make phone calls, instead of email... if they don't have what I need, I can "slide" into asking which is the usual mortuary in town.
Last option... it is in LeFlore county. From rootsweb.com, you can subscribe to the usgenweb email list for that county. Many times (not all), there will be someone local who offers help, if the errand is within reasonable distance for them.
