Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It's all subject to who wants them, more than likley there military records of the time of the war, and may just be regular correspondence, not private info, if so once again it depends on how much someone wants info on him, family descendants may have an interest, but don't think you'll be getting millions or even thousands, few historical figures command such prices for documents, and a forgotten WWII german general (585 of them), where a dime a dozen, unless one of the big names, and I'm a WWII buff, and his name doesn't ring any bells. try the e-bay thing, for historical documents, or contact German historical societies, they would be the ones most interested.
