W here can I see picture of antique aneroid barometer with coat of arms made by Bellatti & Son, Newark, Derby.

I am researching my husband's great, great grandfather, Carlo Andrea Bellatti, b. in Italy, went to Derby., Eng. in 1806 and manufactured telescopes and barometers there in 1840's and before. Also made mirrors. Changed name to Charles Andrew Bellatti. Business was known as C. Bellatti & Son. Please search Genealogy records as that is my purpose as well as interest in any existing products of their business.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Hello Molly, I have had a look at a few sites on your behalf, and with any luck one of them may be able to get the photograph that you want so much, fingers crossed on that one. The first site I searched was http://www.picturethepast.org.uk/... you need to click on the search bar where it says search images and just click that you agree on the next screen. This site is run by the local library I think there are something like 77,000 images from Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire, its a brilliant site. I also got you the Newark library address, newark.library@nottscc.gov.uk my friend says they should have a list of all buisness's dating back to 1600, whether they have or not I wouldn't like to say but you could email them and see if they can help. Carlo Andrea Bellatti, born 1783 in Como Italy, died 11th June 1872, at Newark on Trent, he is buried in the Roman Catholic section of the London Road Cemetery Newark on Trent. His dads name was Vincenzo Bellatti. Carlo married Sarah Peace born December 1787 and christened 9th December 1787, Sarah was born in Burton Upon Trent Staffordshire. They married on the 3rd January 1808,at All Saints Church Derby. Sarah died on 26th December 1870.
