Anyone know how I can access online newspaper stories from 1971?

I am trying to do my family history and I need to get access to newspaper coverage from Manchester (UK) 1971. Do you know of any sites to get this from???? It is really really urgent- thanks in advance!!!

Having said that, I'd be surprised if you could find anything from that far back freely available online, especially from a local paper. Try getting in touch with the Manchester local studies library. There's a list of the newspapers they have at the link below. They might be able to send you a copy of the story you want.
