College, Rev. M. P. LoweryMy Gr Gr Grandpapa Green Berry Waldrop help organized the Academy Baptist Church with Rev. Dan McKay, 1842 , Rev.Benj. Collins and Rev. Nat Harbin, there were the first officers. Here M. P Lowery was pastor while drafting plans for Blue Mt. College. There is a Bronze Plaque in Cotton Plant, Tippah County, Mississippi. Those would often be beyond the county. 3rd... Waldrop family section at genforum.com. When using genforum, I often "play" with the search term ie using the county, the spouse surname, etc. You are aware, of course that your Waldrop line is an EARLY Virginia family, and has lots of info out there?? |
