Question:

A question to all genealogists, if someone asks a genealogy question and you notice someone has posted?

a wrong answer would you point it out to the person who has given the wrong answer or the person who asked the question.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I do it all the time, and point it out to the asker. Two common myths are that Ellis Island changed surnames, and that ancestry.com can only be accessed for a fee.

*I have no expectation that a responder would go back to read. I prefer to assure the asker of the reality of the issue.
