Question:

Rampton Secure Hospital-past patients....?

Someone I know had a relative committed to Rampton back around the 1930's to 1940's. The family were told that the relative had died to stop them asking further questions, but in fact she was admitted to the hospital and forgotten about.
We have only realised this since the surviving member of the generation recently passed away and the information was revealed along with details of the family tree.
My question is, the person has died long ago, she was born in 1908. Where would she be burried, and how would we obtain records about her admission and death etc?
Only serious replies please as this is obviously a delicate and personal quest for information.
Thank you.

If she died in the hospital, what would be the location on the death certificate/records, would it show up as Northampton? She originally came from Gloucestershire.
Thanks.
