Question:

How do I find the district name and number for ordering a death certificate in the UK?

I have the register # and the entry # but I do not have the district name and number. I am attempting to order a death certificate from the following website: http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/... using the GRO index. Please help. Thanks!

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Hello Clicker itsjustme again. The registration district is Bodmin, the inferred County is Cornwall. The registration number is 39B and the entry number is 144, this is all the information you should need apart from his name. I got the information from www.ancestry.co.uk and the actual details from the 1984-2005 section. Hope this helps you.
http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/deaths... just click on this link and scroll down, type in your details in the search bar at the foot of the page. There isn't a registry office in Bodmin so you will need to go through this office , good luck and take care sweetheart.
