is there a way to find out what nationality your last name comes from. like a website. kinda like those family tree site or something but to tell you your ethnicity instead of your family tree

There is one way to know for certain where your own ancestors came from: family history research, back one generation at a time, then another, then another, learning who they each were across history, geography, and time. Learning that someone somewhere sometime had the same or similar surname is not a meaningful or useful shortcut.
