as there is not many people in my family i can ask for detials ive been trying to trace my family on ancestry .co.uk but not been able to find any info on my family, want to know if any one can help, my dad is john quick and my mum is lynn quick maiden name dale we live in cheshire. england.can any one help me please

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Your job would be easier of you started with your grandparents details. If you know their birth place and dates you can order their birth certificates and even their marriage certs. This will give you your ggparents names, which will allow you to make searches in the census records (Ancestry.co.uk).

Your parents details alone won't help too much. You can also order their birth/marriage certificates to get more information.
