Is it true that Sicilians have African blood in them? How is it possible that they all do?

Please note that I am merely curious and I do not dislike either Ethnicity or Race.


Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Africa is a very large continent so you have dark Africans and light Africans. Egyptians and Moroccans and Ethiopians and Nigerians and so on are all Africans.
Italy and Sicily are just across the Mediterranean Sea from Africa so there has been movement of people since the B.C Era. The conquest of parts of Europe, especially Spain, by the Moors facilitated this movement..
Yes, there is some African blood in the people of Sicily, Spain, Italy and many other countries around that area. It may not be very strong now but if Sicilians intermarry a lot, it will remain.
