Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I don't believe the Title was passed and that its extinct. They were actually Stewarts. Your family probably took the name b/c Methven was their fuedal lord or b/c the lived in or near Methven,Scotland. Here is a link for Burkes peerage for the Methven title. And the Stewart Line.
