Family Trees! have you discovered any strange or interesting ancestors?

Our family has been researching for a few years and I am actually decended from the Pied Piper of Hamlyn! Yes but he was really a rat catcher, the children thing was made up thankfully!!

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Yes I have, I have grandad/grandma bigamists, grandad who was deceased for his daughters wedding in 1908 that is what the entry on the marriage certificate says. 1915 the same daughter marries again and is listed as a "widow", nothing strange in that, but her dad ,my deceased great/grandad, has been resurrected and was able to sign the marriage certificate as a witness to the event at the registry office.
