Question:

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The Massachusetts Archives will provide you a certified copy of the extract from the town registers for $3.

The address is:
150 Mt. Vernon Street
Dorchester, MA 02125-3105

You need to provide the name, location, date of birth, etc. to have the best chance of getting the correct record.

The entire original registers have also been digitized and are available via the NEHGS website (www.newenglandancestors.com). If you have alot of Mass. connections, it's worth joining ($75/yr).

If you edit your post to include the name and date of the person you're looking for, i'll be happy to check for you.
