Question:

Why are people so mean for no reason?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: There is always a reason, but you may not see it.

The 87th time someone asks a substitute teacher if the regular one has a hangover, the sub may get angrier than the first time. There you are, sitting in your 6th period class with ruler marks on your knuckles, when Johnny in the first period didn't get any whacks.

Someone with an abscessed tooth is going to be angrier than someone without one.

Someone who spent 20 minutes looking up three possible dead relatives for a Question, and didn't even get a "Thank you" or an e-mail saying which one it was, is going to be touchier about answering other Q here than an innocent.

Some of us suffer fools gladly and some of us point out grammar and spelling mistakes. People judge you on how you speak and type. Some do it in public, some don't.
