I have a benefit certificate from 1910, from my husbands grandfather and would like any info anyone can give me.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Using google can be tricky... if you put the phrase in quotations, it will look for the exact term.
Your phrase did hit, and on one document only... however it is not the full text, but a "lead in" to an archived record, in a legal journal. From the front of the article, it had a date of about 1935, and was discussing business mergers, it seems like.
From the word "benefit"... my guess would be that it might refer to a fraternal type insurance thing. However, that is just a guess.
If you seriously want to pursue it.. does it show any home office location? If a city is named, you could also work to locate a city directory for that time frame, to see if there is a listing. Such a directory may not be online... you might have to zoom to the city library, for possible offline archives.
