Question:

What about adopted children?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Are you asking how to indicate this in a genealogy?

Most genealogical software will allow you to indicate more than one set of parents: the biological and the adoptive. Both are meaningful lines to trace, if possible.

The adoptive parents are the ones who have provided the family to which they belong, and for that reason the heritage should be important to them. At the same time, the biological lines are also important from the standpoint of knowing your genealogical background.
