Does anyone know of a FREE website where I can find information about people in my family to add to my family tree?Like birth records and information or something? Please this is really important to me!!

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: There are several sites out there where other researchers have submitted their work. BEWARE. There is a lot of bad research out there. The best way to find your family is to sit down with relatives, gather all the info that you can from them, then obtain birth, death, and marriage certificates, obits and cemetery info. You can go to your local LDS center and they have some great resources too. Check with your local library to see if they subscribe to ancestry.com and heritagequest.com. With heritagequest you can look at census reports and locate family members, their children and their age at the time of the census. This is good info to use when looking for other documents.
Make sure you document all your work with the above documents. You can chase the wrong family for years by using what you find online.
