I have so many things I need to know. First question Im English, I want to sign up to a genealogy site which is the best.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You can go to FamilySearch.org. Thats who I have been using and its a free site. There is also another site you can link to from FamilySearch.org but it is a pay site.

My best advice to you is begin with yourself and work backward. Keep your notes organized, maybe make a file for each family group you are working on. You can get a program off FamilySearch.org thas should help keep you organized.

Also I am LDS (mormon) and we have many Family History Centers which are free to use even for non-members. You can look up your local LDS church in the phone book and they should be able to direct you to your local Family History Center. It is best to call your local church on Wednesday and Tuesday evenings.
