Question:

Can I find out online about my Indian ancestry?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Suzie, there are millions of genealogical records online. There are millions more that are NOT online. You can use the computer as a great tool for tracking your ancestry, but no one can guarantee that it will have the exact record(s) you expect.

Let me get you going by offering one (of many) online tutorials on how to trace your ancestry. Another place I like a lot is www.cyndislist.com, which has a huge collection of resources for genealogy. Among that is a list of specific topics, sites and articles that focus on Native American research. However.. you have to start with the basics, then go into whether or not you can document the rest.
Just to try and offer a perspective.. www.usgenweb.com is a network of volunteer sites, covering the entire US (and there is the same for other countries). An example might be Wise county, Texas... that is spilling over with such things as every cemetery surveyed, and photos available. Wonderful if your ancestor lived there. Other surrounding counties may or may NOT have all the cemeteries online. It all is totally dependent on YOUR specifics, and each individual person in your lineage.
We can help you learn how to do research. No one is going to guarantee what you might find.
