Question:

How can you look up someones last name if u only know how to pronouce there last name.?

I have a friend that I used to hang out with and now we met up on myspace, but I dont know how to spell her last name I know how to pronouce it but now how to spell it.

Her name is Lily MaGill...

Im not spelling Magill right for me to add her as my friend.

Someone please post suggestions.

Genealogy is about researching dead ancestors. We would more likely have the opposite dilemma, how to pronounce a name we've found spelled various ways.
