Has anyone know the genealogy of Elvis Presley?

with all that's been written about him, i'm curious to know what his ancestral background is.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Go to: http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/... and put in his name. There are many trees there, but you will need to follow them back to find his ancestral background. Remember, each person is putting together his/her own family tree. So, you need to find a tree that goes back through his direct line. I did spot one that went back to his maternal grandmother's side, but didn't track it back.

Personally, I find it more interesting to find out about my own family. But, maybe that is just me. (grin)
