I would like to find my real parents in Montreal?

I was born in Montreal (in 1962) and would like to find my real parents because I was adopted. I am not sure how to go about it without paying these companies that don't garantee results. Any ideas?

The thing is I live in Ontario Canada so if anyone has specific info on proceedure either in Quebec or Ontario that would be ideal!
