Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Yes, tap dancing can help you get more toned, most specifically in the legs!. There's alot of muscular endurance and strength that is acquired by taking tap!. Most of the time you are on the balls of your feet so your calf muscles will be working very very hard!. :) and depending on your teacher you will get quite a good workout, i recommend it!.
