Did Germand were the most powerful country in the worl at the time of world war 2?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Germany had a great army, a good air force but they lacked the third element of the military, navy. Without this they never would have been able to invade Britain rendering the might army useless.

I would say that Germany was one of the five most powerful countries at the time of WW2, but to say they were the best is at most debatable.
