Question:

Why is Aristotle credited as the Father of Logic?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Aristotle's ideas on logic had the most influence across the world. He wrote about logic explaining that it is a type of thought that allows us to decide whether an idea is true or false. He is the only philosopher to have written extensively and into details on logic. He thought that knowledge from the senses were very important as opposed to Plato's belief that knowledge from the senses was always confused and not pure. This is probably why Aristotle is called the 'Father Of Logic'.A popular example, given by him:
1.All humans are mortal (They die at some point)
2.Aristotle is a human
3.Therefore, Aristotle is mortal.
